Congratulations to Carol Dawkins, McConnells, SC.
Have Fun and we will see you on the trails soon!

Ivie is an adorable Welsh/Draft Cross. She is very full of energy &
would be well suited for timed events like barrels, poles, pony jumpers or better yet as a broodmare. She is very quick. She
has been shown in the past in hunter hack & ridden by children. She would need consistent work to do that again. We purchased
her for our lesson program but she's too quick for beginners. She is very easy to turn and transition. She neck reins too.
Healty and sound. She has a current negative coggins cert. Leads, loads, clips, ties, good with feet.

Sheza
Tough Jewel
Very nice, 6 year
old, breeding stock, paint, sorrel with white hairs mixed in, good breeding, has reining, western pleasure and halter
point earners in first two generations of her pedigree. Goes back to Sonny Dee Bar on top. (In my opinion she
looks like him). Very nice western pleasure/halter build. Muscular but still athletic. Very Gentle.
She is great on the trails. She is less responsive in the ring. Just a little on the lazy side, but she is a fantastic
trail horse, very responsive, crosses bridges & creeks. We have taken her to Anne Close Springs Greenway, Brattonsville,
Latta Plantation and on a St. Judes Trail Ride. Her previous owners took her on a lot more strenuous rides
in the Smoky Mountains National Park and Roger's Mountain. She is a good girl, she loves baths, doesn't mind being wormed.
She is a people horse.

Congratulations
Rebecca of Newport News, VA!!!
Shady
is a wonderful, sweet mare. She has great ground manners. She ties, loads and
stands quietly for the farrier and vet. She is up to date on worming, vaccinations & has a current negative coggins test.
She is pretty and typey. Se has nice conformation except that her toes turn in a little in the front. It does not affect her
at all. She is a very easy keeper. She is 14.2 hands. She is around 16-17
years old according to her previous owner. Her previous owner also told us that she is a purebred but her papers were lost.
She has been leased for the last 8 months and has done well. She is a good trail horse and has been on rides at the Kings
Mtn. Battleground, Latta Plantation & Broad River Greenway. She is sensitive to leg pressure therefore
we just use very light leg pressure and the reins to guide her. She rides with
a hackamore. She direct reins and turns with just a little bit of pressure. She has never bucked, reared, or offered to kick or bite us. She has been a great horse to us but we have to make room for a jumper. Shady
will make a great mount for someone that likes a horse with a little spunk under saddle. Please contact us for more information.
To a good home only.

Update January 2006
"Shady has brought so much joy to my life, she is a
tremendously positive, peacful and joyful part of my life. I really don't know how to express what I feel for her in words,

moved to New York. Becky sent us this beautiful photo of Shady in her new home. Looks like a Winter
